Phonemic Charts

Last week I just taught my students in Diploma programme about the vowels and consonants in English. Well, not actually English, but the phonetic symbols are IPA (International Phonetic Alphabets), so we can use the vowels and consonants to write the phonetic symbols of other languages such as Bahasa.

I hope that helps you, EFL learners, in pronouncing English words.

PS: Oxford English Dictionary uses these symbols to show the pronunciation of a word.
